SATURNevo | Assembling ARGAL FRP centrifugal mech-sealed pump

SATURNevo centrifugal pumps are available in monobloc and coupled versions. Thanks to the materials used and ARGAL technology, the SATURNevo is lighter but extremely resistant. The assembly and disassembly of the pump is very simple, making maintenance easier: just follow these steps!

STEP 1:
Assemble the housing (previously heated) to the shaft - Insert the shaft into the bracket
Apply the snap ring and O-ring to the shaft group

STEP 2:
Assemble the shaft group to the bearing frame
Secure the outboard bearing housing with the rear bearing frame

STEP 3:
Apply snap ring and O-ring to front part of shaft
Screw the inboard bearing housing to fix the shaft group with the bearing assembly  
Apply the shaft sleeve to the shaft

STEP 4:
Insert the O-ring into the cover
Before assembling the cover and the rear flange make sure that the shaft sleeve is positioned correctly
Make sure that the unloading hole is aligned with the foot frame
Assemble both parts
Add impeller
Add feather key
Add washer and nut to secure impeller
Add the ogive to the impeller and screw it on

STEP 5:
Add the O-ring to the pump casing
Add the volute casing to the bracket group
Lock the rear flange to the volute casing

The pump is assembled!
